New Grandchildren

I am now the proud grandma to Connor Joseph Keating born August 1 and Emily Abigael Shannon who was born December 14, 2007. They are absolutely precious!

I am still learning the "ropes" of blogging - I have a grandson, born August 1, 2007 - Connor Joseph, who is making my life as a grandma absolutely amazing.

The Weekend

WOW - was I ever ready to get to the weekend! Work has been soooo stressful, and I was so happy to let go of it when the day ended.

THEN, I discovered that I was a week behind in the new Biology class for the semester, so, the stress of getting on top of the two classes for this 8 weeks is in full swing! I must admit, reading Biology was a little easier out by the pool for a couple of hours - even though HOT!

Happiness Is....

I have a beautiful new grandson, Connor Joseph, who was born August 1, 2007. WOW - being a grandparent is even better than I ever anticipated or expected! It is amazing how you love the kid's kids!

New LIfe

The best news of August 1 is the arrival of my very first grandchild - Connor Joseph Keating. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 2 oz. and was 19 1/2 inches tall. Mom and baby are healthy and doing well and at home as of last night. I sat up with Connor until midnight, just holding him and calming him while my daughter finally caught a few hours of sleep. It is a miraculous occassion to watch your child give birth to a child that is an extension of yourself! And it is amazing that this wee one has already moved firmly into my heart and taken great hold of the spot meant for him.

Isn't it amazing to also know that our heavenly Father has more than enough love for each child that he has drawn unto himself via the Son? Makes the spiritual and the physical so impactful at this special time!
